XtraCat will be releasing a variety of add-on modules for the eDatCat™ Shopping Cart System over the coming months. Below are a few examples...


Coupon/Gift Certificate Module
Our most requested module. Allows store admin to set and define different kinds of coupon codes and gift certificates. Now in development.

Affiliate Module
Allows store admins to track and credit referrers and visitors.
Due: Available now! Price: $159.95

Power Discount Module
Allows store admin to define very powerful discount features such as buy 1 (or any number) get 1(or any number) free (or at a percentage or fixed discount), customer-specific discounts, etc.
Due: Available now! Price: $159.95

Multi-Language Module
Allows store admin to define up to 4 additional languages to display their site. Visitors can select the language. The templates can be customized for each language. Also, store messages can be customized for each language, too.

Power Status Module
Allows customers to review and cancel/reorder previously ordered items or entire orders.
Due: Late 2002. Price: TBA.

Power Shipping Module
Allows for shipping options to lie cross-method and cross-carrier. ie.- UPS, FedEx, and USPS, with standard, 2nd day, and overnight delivery options.
Due: Late Summer 2002. Price: TBA.

Frequent Buyer Module
Allows store admins to track and credit customers in a variety of ways.
Due: Late 2002. Price: TBA soon.

Power Search Module
Offers powerful searching options and routines. Includes fuzzy searches and other search options.

Gift Registry Module
Basically, a pumped-up version of the wish list feature, this module will allow customers to create a public wish list, and invite other people to view it. People can purchase items on the list for the customer, and the list will update, reflecting the purchase, and the number of items left the customer needs. The customer can email the list.

Haggle Module
A lovable and unique little feature, the haggle module allows the store admin to set a base price for each item, and then place them on the bargaining table. Customers can "haggle" back and forth with the web site until a price, not exceeding the admin's minimum, is agreed upon.

B2B Module
This module, though named for a B2B context, could actually be used in a number of situations. It will allow for customer credit accounts, drop-ship locations, PO's, and more.

MallCenter Module
Allows the main admin to specify various "stores", each with their own admin. Customers can shop and order from each store- all with one shopping cart. Orders are sent to the appropriate store for processing. This would make a great ISP version of eDatCat for ISP's that wish to offer a low-budget alternative to customers who want a quick & easy web site.

In addition to the above list, we have several modules planned. These include a mySQL Module, and Payment Gateway modules for CardService International, World Pay, ECHO, and Cybercash. More details will be available in the near future.
