The
merchant can define a point system for both methods of
tracking:
- Visits
via the affiliate link: For example, the
merchant may specify that 200 visits earns the affiliate 10
points.
- Purchases
made by visitors arriving via the affiliate link. For
example, the
merchant may specify that this option tracks store-wide,
category-wide, or product specific purchases. The affiliate is
rewarded a certain number of points based on the dollar
amount of accumulated purchases, The merchant may
specify that $500 in total purchases rewards the affiliate
20 points.
- Count the number of products
purchased. The merchant may specify that 10 products
purchases rewards the affiliate with 1
point.
It
is up to the merchant to determine how the points’ value is
passed on to the affiliate.
Multiple
Affiliate Programs: The Merchant can assign
different affiliates to different affiliate programs. One
program may pay more than the other
program.
Report
and Commission Calculation: Run Link report for a
period to see how many links each affiliate generated. It also
calculates commission.
Monthly or Quarterly
Periods: Pay Commission monthly or
quarterly.
